Construction started this week on a new office building along Westmoreland Avenue in Napoleon. Steve Lankenau of Lankenau Properties said the new 10,000 square foot office building will be located at 910 Westmoreland Ave., which is at the corner of Westmoreland and Lynne Avenues and is expected to be complete the first quarter of 2027.
The $2 million investment is located near U.S. Route 24, which Lankenau said should make it attractive to new tenants. “It brings an additional Class-A space,” Lankenau said. “It’s one more small way to help grow the community.”
The building will be located next to another property owned by Lankenau Properties that currently houses Goodville Mutual Insurance Co., ProMedica Physicians, Stapleton Insurance Group, Unison Behavioral and Lankenau’s ReMax office.
Lankenau said Goodville Mutual Insurance is planning to rent 7,500 square feet of the new building as the company currently employs approximately 35 people in Napoleon and this move up would accommodate up to 60 employees. At this time, that leaves 2,500 square feet open to lease in the new building. Once the move is complete, the space in the current office building will then be available for lease.
